GETTING THERE

Kings Cross and surrounding suburbs are easily accessible from both the CBD and the Eastern Suburbs beaches.  

TRAIN

KINGS CROSS TRAIN STATION is on the Eastern Suburbs line, just two stops from Town Hall and two stops from Bondi Junction. You'll exit the station either on Victoria Street or Darlinghurst Road and be minutes walk away from hotels, cafes and restaurants, and local service organisations including St Vincent's Hospital. 

DRIVE

KINGS CROSS CAR PARK is conveniently located on Ward Ave Elizabeth Bay, and has some reasonable rates:

  • Monday - Thursday evenings after 6pm is capped at $15
  • Saturday and Sunday, entry after 6am and exit before 6pm is capped at $15
  • 30 minutes free.

This car park is open 24/7 and is within walking distance of many of our great local restaurants, cafes, retailers and theatres.

There's also a car parking station on BAYSWATER ROAD in Kings Cross. 

WALK

Kings Cross and surrounding suburbs are within walking distance of the CBD. Take a great route from the Royal Botanic Gardens and Domain via Woolloomooloo, up the McElhone Stairs and via Challis Ave to Potts Point. Or walk straight up William Street from Hyde Park looking towards the famous Coke sign. You can also walk from Darlinghurst and Oxford Street, or via Rushcutters Bay park if you've been checking out the sail boats and marina.  

BUS

The 311 bus is the key bus which runs between the CBD and Potts Point/Elizabeth Bay or Central Station. The 325 bus runs between Watsons Bay and the CBD via Kings Cross. Find timetables and exact routes here.
