Continental Robert is best known as the lead singer, harmonica player and songwriter of the 1980s Soul Band The Dynamic Hepnotics who had a national SMASH HIT with his composition "Soul Kind Of Feeling". Throughout the 90s he was the front man of funky Blues combo The Mighty Reapers who released a half a dozen, award winning albums, released locally and in the USA. They were also the band of choice to back up touring USA Blues and Soul stars including Big Jay McNeely, Margie Evans (both who they recorded albums with) & Hubert Sumlin, Louisiana Red, Lucky Peterson to name a few.
Robert's latest combo, The JukeJoint Four play feelgood Blues and Soul from legends like Jimmy Reed, Little Walter, Slim Harpo, Ray Charles, Bobby Blue Bland as well Robert's own composition.
The JukeJoint Four will be featuring hotshots: "Hit Single" Adam Pringle guitar. Alex "Baby Hewey" Hewetson bass. Matt "The Rumble" Morrison drums. They'll be working some, down in the alley, good rocking, funky Blues, up close and personal!! Come and get some!
